Event Pro Refresh:

A Retreat for Wellness Renewal, hosted by Skylar Arden Events nestled along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica at Playa Grande, Guanacaste. For women in the event space at a a beautiful private retreat center.

What’s included?

~Shuttle service from the Liberia airport to the center. You must fly into Liberia no later than the afternoon of February 22, 2026. Based on your flight schedule you may consider to fly in a day prior and meet back at the airport for the scheduled departure.

  • A single casita or shared house with private bedrooms depending on availability during your booking process

  • Three vegan chef prepared meals per day

  • A swimming pool

  • Scheduled yoga classes

  • Private Yoga Shala

  • A scheduled sound bath

  • A scheduled waterfall hike & hot spring visit

  • Other activities range from horseback riding, kayaking to surfing and will be pre booked based on availabilty of vendors and the schedule

  • Cleaning services

  • Immersion in nature and visits from local howler monkeys

  • Gratuity to vendors and transportation will be handled

  • Exact timing and schedule will be discussed prior to the retreat, based on vendor availability and will be included in your package price

  • What’s not included?

  • Flights

  • Spa services however these can be added on and scheduled as desired.

  • While we encourage guests to take each day as they please,  the retreat will generally be alcohol free with your choice to pay as you wish for cocktails

  • Travel insurance must be booked and paid separately prior to the trip

  • Meals off-site

    *This will be an intimate group of attendees maxing out at eleven guest total.

What’s the booking process & pricing?

  • You’re excited to book but want to hear more details? Scheduled zoom calls will be available to go through logistics, concerns, questions or any special needs you may have. Any questions and concerns will also be responded to via email. Dawn@skylarardeneventsanddesign.com

  • Next a contract will be sent along with an invoice upon completion. After that you’ll officially be booked.

  • Details will be provided such as packing items needed, recommendation on flight schedules and travel insurance recommendations.

  • A zoom call will be scheduled closer to the retreat month to go through travel details, questions and for every event professional to get to know each other!

  • A timeline of the week will be sent prior in order to have a more in-depth idea of the week!

Pricing-

  • Monthly payments or four scheduled invoice payments with the remaining balance due by January.

  • Price ranges from 4000 to 4300 depending on if you book a private space or a shared house with a private bedroom. Pricing is based on available spaces and first come first serve bookings. Attendees are required to book travel insurance in the case of cancellation due to personal matters or illness.

Past Retreat~

Where: Casa Paloma, A luxury retreat center on the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala. A luxury retreat center on the shores of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala.

You work all year round for your clients because you really love what you do and care about each event you work on. Yet, you find yourself feeling tired and drained by the end of your event season. January rolls arounds and you realize you never booked anything for yourself. This is where we come in. This particular event is currently intended for women and those who identify as women. However we hope to offer more in the future for everyone.

Dates- Check in January 23rd, 2025 from 3-6pm - Checkout January 28th, 2025 at 10 am.


What’s included

~Shuttle service from the airport to the lake, where a boat will transport you to your lake retreat. You must fly in to Guatemala City no later than the morning of January 23, 2025. Based on your flight schedule, it is suggested to fly in a day prior and meet back at the airport for the scheduled departure.

Our Why

This past January I had the amazing opportunity to join a women’s wellness retreat in beautiful Costa Rica. Although I went in feeling a little guilty leaving my husband, work and my fur babies. I left Costa Rica a changed person and excited to get back into my work. I departed with tools, such as the practice of daily meditation, new friends and overall a positive energy. Guatemala is a beautiful, spiritual country which I know will take everyone’s heart. My hope is for each attendee to relax, enjoy the daily activities as they please and to truly unwind from their day to day stresses.

Your Stay

Stunning views of Lake Atitlán & the Volcano from your bedroom oasis. Space is limited to give each guest an intentional, relaxing experience. The venue will be a full buyout for extra privacy.

Luxury Stay options

Housing varies from shared houses with private bedrooms, private rooms with shared bathrooms and stand alone cabin options. Each space is decorated with the work of local artisans. Top quality queen and single mattresses, top quality 100% cotton bedding, down pillows, duvets are provided throughout. Each room has their own balcony or private patio and lake views.

  • Price ranges from 4200 to 4400 for individual cabin & bath options. Pricing is based on available spaces and first come first serve bookings. One alternative space is available at 3800 for a the library “nook” room.

  • Attendees are required to book travel insurance in the case of cancellation due to personal matters or illness.
